“Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It’s transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the very moment certain things happened in your life. It’s uplifting, it’s encouraging, it’s strengthening.” — Aretha Franklin

This is a bit of a weird one. At one point, my kid (then, about five or six), was playing this online game through Webkinz; she played it almost exclusively. It was kind of like Pac-Man but easier. Anyway, it had this theme music which got stuck in my head for days and days, and I thought it sounded vaguely techno. It also started with the classic Pac-Man intro that is so recognizable (they stole it for their own game). In order to purge this earworm, I decided to make it into a techno/trance track.

So, I didn’t compose this, I basically just did the arrangement like a remix, but many of the basic sequences and melodies were recreated to sound like the video game. I was never able to determine who to credit for the writing after a long search and that website is long gone.
