The bones of this were put together in 2006 while I was working on Omega<\/a>, but it never really progressed beyond a basic idea back then, just a chord progression and some percussion. In my mind, I always had it in my head to be an epic trance opener to an album, using my standard quiet-to-aggressive buildup technique, but I could never figure out a way to end it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I attempted to redo this a few times since then, with the most work being done in 2019, but it never really felt complete until 2021. At that time, I was looking to put together a new Perpetual Emotion Machine<\/a> album, which also still hasn’t come to fruition. At the moment, it is slated to be a track on the forthcoming Key <\/a>EP, Dash<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
