Port Moody is the town in British Columbia where my daughter lived for a time after my separation from her mother. After spending some time there for a visit, this was the song I wrote when I got back. I thought it was a sleepy little town and it had a bit of some eerie vibes (but that was probably just me).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would say that this is an extension (or natural progression) of the EtherReal tracks Peek <\/a>and ‘Orrible It Is<\/a>. The timing for this song is a little different — the phrasing switches from 6\/4 to 4\/4 and back several times. The original idea was based on a percussion loop I had in my head as an earworm and that sequence was 6 beats long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was an idea to do this as a second single from Glory<\/a>. I completed a remix for it and had earmarked some other tracks to go on it, but It never came to pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
