“Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It’s transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the very moment certain things happened in your life. It’s uplifting, it’s encouraging, it’s strengthening.” — Aretha Franklin

This was probably the last track I did before upgrading my software and starting to do stuff from home. It’s a great sounding bassline with some club/house percussion that I’ve always wanted to redo into something more substantial, but so far no joy. The only thing about this I don’t like is the crappy xylo-melody, I’ve always wanted to take that out. The ending to this was supposed to be a false one, and the track was supposed to be another 90 seconds long, but I’ve lost that arrangement since then. The basis of this song was originally written around the time of Nightgames, 1988 or so.

I liked this groove so much (still do) that I’ve tried several times to revamp the track, but it never solidified.
