“Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It’s transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the very moment certain things happened in your life. It’s uplifting, it’s encouraging, it’s strengthening.” — Aretha Franklin

Robert Miles‘ “Children” was the track that spurred me into writing a new album, and this was probably the first or second one that was finished. I was bored with electronic music at the time, until I heard “Children”. So I set out to write a dream-trance track with that one in mind, thinking I could cash in. It’s a great song, but it didn’t bring me the moolah like I thought. I probably should have sent it to someone.

This song also marked the point at which I started writing more musical pieces, like I had done before I discovered trackers. I was finally comfortable with the environment, and could concentrate on songwriting.
