“Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It’s transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the very moment certain things happened in your life. It’s uplifting, it’s encouraging, it’s strengthening.” — Aretha Franklin

“Heart” is a song which has a few remixes already, because it was a single in 1988. But the standard 12″ version was a little underwhelming for me — quite long with not much variation. There were some house remixes that I liked, but since I was fortunate to come across the multitrack for this, as a project for a lazy Sunday I decided to make my own 12″ version that I would have done had I been a part of the production team.
