“Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It’s transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the very moment certain things happened in your life. It’s uplifting, it’s encouraging, it’s strengthening.” — Aretha Franklin

I am not sure why there are so many of my songs about driving or referencing driving — I’ve never owned a car or a license and never had any intention to — but this is another one. I was obviously heavily influenced by Rollo and Faithless again. This has always been a favourite mine because the dancefloor vibe is one of my best — but at the same time I don’t think really captured it the way I wanted to.

This was my first use of any kind of vocoder effect. It was also the first time I was incorporating post-tracker effects in wave editors as part of the final tracks.

The only other song from 2001 I was able to remaster — the rest of the sourse files were lost.
